- Operates at 4S configuration with voltage range of 14.8V to 16.8V, suitable for lithium-ion battery packs.
- Supports a peak current of 20A for power management in battery systems.
- Provides battery management system (BMS) and protection circuit module (PCM) for lithium-ion batteries.
- Designed for use with 18650 lithium-ion batteries, compatible with LiCoO2 and LiMn2O4 chemistries.
Please be aware that this protection board is incompatible with lithium iron phosphate batteries, xenon lamps, battery packs for electric drills, battery packs for electric fishing machines, battery packs for electric bicycles, batteries for children's bicycles, motors rated at 775 (4A) or higher, and 1W fisheye LED lights.
Compact power inverters, battery packs for massagers, backup power supplies for LED lights, electronic devices, battery packs for solar street lights, backup power supplies for surveillance systems, and various other items.
Note: For products that discharge at 3A or more, the battery discharge rate should be at least 3C.
Calculation formula for rates: A battery rated at 1C with a capacity of 2000mAh corresponds to a maximum operating current of 2AH * 1 = 2A. For a battery rated at 3C with a capacity of 2000mAh, the maximum operating current is 2AH * 3 = 6A.
If the battery overheats while in use, it indicates that the battery rating is not suitable. In such cases, prolonged use is not advisable as it can lead to rapid damage of the battery.
Safety Tip 1: Adhere strictly to the wiring diagram: 0V (B-), 3.7V (B1), 7.4V (B2), 11.1V (B3), 14.8V (B+). Avoid intentional short-circuits!
Safety Tip 2: After connecting the wires, ensure to charge the batteries before using them.
Safety Tip 3: When linking four battery groups in series, verify that each group maintains the same voltage.
In case of discrepancies, charge each set separately to full capacity before linking them in series. When testing discharge, the battery set that experiences a quicker voltage drop is the one that is weaker.
Important: Avoid combining strong and weak batteries! The more similar the capacity and internal resistance of the four battery sets, the more effective they will be! (Using 2 strong batteries alongside 2 weak ones is equivalent to using 4 weak batteries).
