RL-209 2 Station Wired Intercom System (10000528)

The RL-209 Intercom system - 2 rooms is ideal for the small office where only two rooms require intercoms. It has a possible operation range of up to 200M meaning that the intercoms can be placed well apart without affecting functionality.

Key Features and Specifications

Communication Type: Full-duplex two-way audio via handsets.
Distance: Operates up to 200 meters (656 feet) depending on wire gauge.
Power Options: Can be powered via an AC wall adapter or 4x AA batteries per handset.
Standby: Zero current consumption when not in use.

Installation & Troubleshooting

Wiring Setup: Handsets require a simple 2-wire connection between them. For cable runs longer than 30 meters, a thicker gauge wire is recommended to maintain optimal audio clarity.
No Sound/Power: Verify the batteries are inserted correctly or the AC adapter is securely plugged in. Ensure the handsets are placed within the 200m range and the wire has not been severed.
Where to Buy: You can find the RL-209 at local South African retailers like Electromann SA or compare deals on Bob Shop.
