• The MX808S gives you the option to unlock these functions per brand, directly through the tablet, with an activation fee based on either a per-use token or an annual license, depending on the OEM
• Many scanners don’t offer this capability at all — leaving you locked out of key functions.
• Importantly, most service functions and vehicles still work without any activation, especially on models before 2020 or where gateway restrictions do not apply.
